In his memoir Dreams From My Father, Barack Obama admits that he chose his friends carefully. He even says that those friends included Marxist professors. I’ve included the transcript immediately below and the video below that:
To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists.
The video (audio, actually) runs 17 seconds in length. I’m sure his supporters will insist that because it’s not an hour and a half long, it’s out of context. They’ll always claim that of something potentially damaging to The One.
So he takes issue with reporters connecting a stance of his to Marxists, yet admitted that he actively sought out Marxists as his friends and associates?

His supporters will always complain that it’s taken out of context? You mean the like the clip that was reworked that you took advantage of yesterday, but turned out to be a hacked together fraud?
I was looking for that post on here again, you know thinking I’d see more comments on it, then I learned it was worse than taken out of context, but even strategically edited, then I noticed you took it down the post, no comments about it? So it’s all cool then, you can pretend it never happened? Move on to something else juicy you could use from 1988?
Wow that’s great, keep feeding the ‘socialist’ spin talking points. But it turns out that if you don’t want “socialism” that is is money taken as taxes and used for the public good, I guess you won’t be served by either party. As I recall, Bush was pushing hard for the first bailout rescue plan wasn’t he? Yeah that’s much better than socialism. I love how the people should have to pay for companies and governments mistakes, taken from the masses and given to the few who mismanaged, and continue to do so.
That certainly works.

Uh, no. It was a featured post and my system removes them from the front page after a new feature appears if I don’t manually correct it. It can still be accessed through direct URL.

Because you claim it’s out of context doesn’t make it so.
“As I recall, Bush was pushing hard for the first bailout rescue plan wasn’t he?”
Yes. And I was one of those who called the White House and Congress to oppose it.

I tried to play the video, but it says the account has been terminated. What’s up??? Is Youtube trying to shut out voices of dissent?
