Shamelessly stolen (though slightly altered) from Hot Air commenter lorien1973. Anyway, two people have been arrested on assault charges after they entered a GOP headquarters in Galax, Virgina, requested Obama/Biden stickers, then became agitated and violent.
The individuals identified by Galax police as Daniel Cason Meinecke, 29, and Cara Annice Hindman, 26, came to the headquarters requesting Obama-Biden bumper stickers, according Billy Bryant, who told WXII12 News that he was picking up campaign signs when the incident happened.
Bryant said that Meinecke told the GOP workers that someone had stolen all of the signs from his neighborhood and alleged that the GOP workers were responsible for the theft.
Chairman Mike Stevens then reportedly referred them to the Obama headquarters down the street. That’s when they started causing trouble. Hindman allegedly used mace on five workers while Meinecke assaulted Stevens. Galax police arrested the two when they tried to flee. The suspects are out on a secured bond.
