How’s that Russell/Murtha Race Going?

by Stephan Tawney on November 4, 2008

According to Mark Hemingway, Lt. Col. Bill Russell’s internals show the race tied at 46%. Whenever an incumbent politician can’t break 50%, it’s not a great sign for him. John “Cold-Blooded” Murtha could actually end up getting the boot, folks.

A little bit of anecdotal evidence for those who are wondering how effective Sarah Palin has been in rallying the base: Bill Clinton rallied for Murtha in his district on Monday. The former President drew a crowd of about 1,400. The Alaska Governor held a rally in the same district a few weeks ago. She drew upwards of 5,000.

This is definitely a race we’ll be watching as the day goes on.

You’re a moron. I neither represent nor am affiliated with the Russell campaign. I’m a freaking blogger. Do us all a favor and stay away from the polls.
