Sherry Johnston, the 42 year-old mother of Bristol Palin’s fiance Levi, has been charged with six felony drug charges in Alaska.

On December 18, 2008, at the conclusion of an undercover narcotics investigation, Alaska Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Enforcement Investigators served a search warrant on a Wasilla residence resulting in the arrest of 42 year old Wasilla resident Sherry L. Johnston. Mrs. Johnston was remanded to Mat-Su Pre-trial on 3 counts of Misconduct Involving a controlled Substance in the 2nd Degree and 3 counts of Misconduct Involving a Controlled Substance in the 4th Degree.

Palin’s official spokesman (rightly) says it’s not a state government matter and that the communications office will not be providing comment on it.
