Just across the wire now. Fox News has live feed of a podium being set up for a press conference. Harry Reid, Dick Durbin, and Roland Burris will speak together. Awkward. Reid promised not to seat Burris and claimed the legal right to do so. Here we are on Wednesday, with The One giving a policy speech, having the tainted Senator accepting his seat.
Update: Obama at his press conference again votes “present” on the Burris news. “That’s a Senate matter”. Nevermind the fact that Obama had no problem speaking about Burris before and that the former AG will be replacing him in the legislative body.
Update X2: A spokesman for Harry Reid says that the Associated Press story is wrong. Across on Fox and TPM.
