Rod Blagojevich Convicted Unanimously

Rod Blagojevich has been convicted by the Illionos State Senate and is no longer Governor of Illinois. Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn will be sworn-in at a time yet to be determined this evening. The vote was unanimous.

The State Senate will now determine whether or not Blagojevich will be permitted to hold office in any capacity. The impeached governor will reportedly still receive his pension.
