Despite pushing a $1.1 trillion spending bill that includes significant amount of pork spending, President Barack Obama has demanded that the Pentagon cut defense spending by 10%. This news comes in the middle of two wars, one of which Obama wants to ramp-up significantly.

Don’t be surprised to see missile defense and the development of new combat systems gutted, just as Senator Barack Obama had promised many months ago. But by all means, let’s spend hundreds of millions on STD prevention and replanting the National Mall.
