Pelosi: 500 Million Americans Losing Their Jobs Every Month

by Stephan Tawney on Wed, Feb 4, 2009

We’re going to have 6 billion unemployed Americans in 2009 alone, folks. Thank God this woman is in control of Congress. So comforting.

Allahpundit:

Exit question: Which of the 57 states will be hit hardest by the downturn?

Brutally Honest:

Proving that leading Democrats these days really have a tough time with numbers period and not just taxes…

Michelle Malkin:

Just say it: She’s a moron. “Know Your Power?” Know Your Numbers, Nan.

Jimmie at Sundries Shack:

Her idiocy would be a lot more funny if she and her genteel thugs weren’t trying to seize a trillion dollars or so from us.

Yes, it would be.

It’s obvious she is including all the illegal immigrants in the country…and those not in the country. I think it was Harry Reid that called them “undocumented Americans.”

    6 billion sounds about right.

Honestly though, she is a carnival of stupid. Between this one and her trying to explain how condoms stimulate the economy, she makes Bush’s gaffes seem like Stephen Hawking giving a seminar on the space time continuum.

I think the woman is taking part of the bailout money and buying crack with it. How else could she come up with some of the outrageous comments

all you conservative idiots cant remember an illegal war [there goes a trillion bucks] and the wall st. bank bailout, another trillion. let the poor get some

  4. Stephan Says:

First of all, do explain how a war approved by Congress and helped by nations around the world is “illegal”. That’s a talking point from the far-left — not reality.

Second of all, the war has cost the United States just over half a trillion dollars thus far. That’s less than the first TARP and about half of the current “stimulus” bill. In exchange for that we liberated 30 million people, eliminated a dictator, and established another democracy.

If you think the “poor” people are benefiting from this, think again. $600 million for a heritage trail, $500,000 for a dog park, and countless other millions for Congressional pet projects isn’t targeted for the poor.
