Stimulus Spends Extra $1 Billion on Census

by Stephan Tawney on February 5, 2009

Found by Purple Avenger. Heck, what’s another $1 billion for the census. As PV quips, those ACORN workers had to do something in their off season.

For an additional amount for ‘‘Periodic Censuses and Programs’’, $1,000,000,000, to remain available until September 30, 2010

Why stop at an extra billion? Why not $10 billion or a cool $100 billion? It’s only the American taxpayers’ money you’re spending here, Washington. What right do they have to have say over their own money?
