Byron York at National Review has been told by an influential Senator that Democrats have worked a deal with three Republicans to vote in favor of this crap sandwich. Even though all House Republicans and all but three Senate Republicans may vote against it, the spending bill will be touted as a bipartisan package. Just as I predicated, so that blame would be shared with the Republican Party if/when the bill fails to stimulate anything except our national debt.

Now would be a great time to call some of the GOP’s wobbly/barely-in-the-party senators: Collins (202) 224-2523 ; Snowe (202) 224-5344 ; Voinovich (202) 224-3353 ; Specter (202) 224-4254. It doesn’t matter if you live in their state, just call them and give ‘em hell. If you can only make one call make it to Specter. If we know anyting about him, he’s usually the ringleader of RINOism.
