This is what happens when you’ve been in Congress for far too long. You’re wasting large amounts of the American taxpayers’ money? So what? What right do they have to complain about us spending their money badly? We’re Congress!

It’s also a result of insisting that something be done to fix the economic crisis, regardless of the implications, just as long as something gets done. Perhaps one of our fine Congressmen can purchase a copy of The Forgotten Man, or any regular history book for that matter, to pass around. Just doing something doesn’t always work.
