As Michael Calderone of The Politico asks, can you imagine if Rush Limbaugh or Sean Hannity was given a front row seat at the presidential press conference? We’d be told that it’s evidence of how Hannity/Rush really controls the party and so Bush needs to kiss their ring. But it’s The One and a liberal talk show host, so it’s just cute or something.
Well, as network correspondents sat in the second row, liberal radio host Ed Schultz managed to snag a seat up front, right next to Helen Thomas.
Schultz told Politico’s Jonathan Martin that his front row was seat was assigned to him.
Of course it was.
