Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA), one of the three Senate Republicans in the Turncoat Caucus, didn’t actually read the whole (read: any) of the so-called “stimulus” legislation. He admitted as much to a Fox News reporter during On the Record with Greta Van Susteren.
Senators Ben Nelson (D-NE) and Carl Levin (D-Mich) also admitted that they hadn’t read the full $1 trillion+ legislation. All of three claim that they had their staff read it instead. If the people who really read proposed legislation are the staff, maybe Americans should start voting for them.
They’re putting us further into debt and can’t even tell us what our money is being spent on. Craptastic.
