President Obama is reportedly huddling with Hispanic Democrats to talk “immigration reform” tomorrow. Don’t expect that to mean they’re going to talk about securing the border, enforcing immigration laws, and welcoming legal immigrants who come through the front door.

“Immigration reform” in open borders talk means promising enforcement, never truly delivering on it, and then giving amnesty to millions of illegal aliens. Democrats get a voting bloc for life and idiots like McCain happily go along with it, accusing his own party of racism for wanting the law enforced all the while.

Hispanic Democrats will have their first West Wing meeting with President Obama on Wednesday morning to discuss immigration reform, according to Democratic sources.

The meeting is the first face-to-face sit-down between Obama and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) since the president was sworn-in. Some in the CHC have recently expressed frustration that Obama has not talked more about immigration in his first two months in office.

Immigration reform is front-and-center on the group’s agenda.

CHC is eager to hear the president’s ideas and proposals for tackling immigration reform, not only as it relates to a comprehensive reform bill that could provide a pathway to citizenship for millions of undocumented workers but also as it relates to rolling back Bush administration policies of raiding workplaces and detaining and deporting thousands of illegal workers.

CHC members came away from a recent meeting in the Capitol with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano — a day after her Senate confirmation hearing — very encouraged that the workplace raids policy would be fully reviewed, and possibly altered.

Obama and his administration are thoroughly planted on the open borders bandwagon. The same president who touted polls to sell his stimulus plan will happily ignore them in order to pass amnesty and appease La Raza. The question is how Americans will react to having to gag down amnesty while the economic situation and our relations with allies around the globe get worse.

Odds of being able to stop it this time? Slim to none, barring a miracle or Blue Dogs stepping in to stand up to Obama. We can try our damndest, of course, but expectations are low with a near-super majority for Democrats and Republican morons going along with amnesty even at the expense of their party and country.
