Obama Returns to the Campaign Trail

Which is what he does whenever his administration has problems. He reverts back to campaigning: Selling his proposals through video, giving speeches to wild supporters, and appearing on late night talk shows.

Would it be too much to ask that the president actually spend some time acting presidential? The nation is in an economic recession, Russia is rearming, rogue nations are acting up, and we’re seeing the early stages of a trade war with Mexico. And where’s President Obama? Yukking it up with Jay Leno and having David Axelrod activate his email list.

Hey, President Obama? You didn’t get elected to campaign for the next four years when you’re not putting the country further into debt. You got elected to improve our foreign relations, fix the economy, and bring real change to Washington. You’re failing on all counts, and that’s starting to get reflected in you approval ratings.

Exit question: How long before Obambi sits down for a softball interview with Jon Stewart? Perhaps if we find out next week that his administration has screwed up more crap.
