Placing Rush Limbaugh as the face of the Republican Party is part of a strategy begun by top Democratic strategists and now partially coordinated from inside the White House, Politico finds in an article this morning. Liberal strategists James Carville and Stanley Greenberg launched the strategy after they found Limbaugh’s favorability ratings low amongst average [...]

Jon Stewart is usually off on major issues, but this is a great exception. Apparently everyone is coming home…except a few dozen thousands of soldiers. Oh, and their mission? Uh, the same thing with different titles. .cc_box a:hover .cc_home{background:url(‘http://www.comedycentral.com/comedycentral/video/assets/syndicated-logo-over.png’) !important;}.cc_links a{color:#b9b9b9;text-decoration:none;}.cc_show a{color:#707070;text-decoration:none;}.cc_title a{color:#868686;text-decoration:none;}.cc_links a:hover{color:#67bee2;text-decoration:underline;} The Daily Show With Jon StewartM – Th 11p / 10c [...]

Another partisan attack by a conservative on a liberal president? Uh, no. Jim Cramer not only endorsed Obama but has only donated to Democrats over the decades. His comments over recent days have caused the most think skinned White House in American history to hit him, a media commentator on CNBC, back. Yet another pundit [...]

Fine, let’s not look at the “day to day gyrations”. Let’s look at the trends: The Dow was trading at almost 9,000 the week Obama got elected and almost 8,000 the week Obama was inaugurated. It closed at 6,726.02 today. That seems to be a downward trend despite Obama’s plans to spend trillions. .msnbcLinks {font-size:11px; [...]

Good Lord. Yet another round of “NRA” logos, but this time they happen to resemble to “O” logo from Obama’s campaign. Obama really does see himself at best as FDR, at worst as Big Brother who will let the people know just how much they need Nanny Government. In remarks at the Department of Transportation [...]

What a sad day when we’re so used to the president’s nominees not following tax law that we’re numb to new cases. Oh, and Senator Max Baucus (D-Mont), chairman of the Senate Finance Committee, doesn’t see this as a problem. Kirk routinely gave any speaking fees he earned to Austin College, the committee said, and [...]

Give them props: It takes some cojones to sue the United States government over $306 million in taxes immediately after it gave you another $30 billion for you to stay afloat. Hell of a nerve. In the midst of its negotiation with the federal government over revised terms of its bailout, American International Group Inc. [...]

Horrible. The Dow is off about 3.66% or 265 points, trading at 6,797.86, as of this posting. The NASDAQ, S&P, and other world markets are doing no better. The only real good news is that oil is trading around the $40 mark.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average has fallen below the 7,000 mark for the first time since October of 1997. As I write this the index is trading at 6,849.79 points, down from a 7,056.48 opening this morning. There are still over four hours of trading left in the day. Why the continued slide? Well, for [...]

You’d think that a campaign as well oiled as Obama’s could actually learn how to vet appointees. We’ve had multiple candidates with tax problems and now two with pay-for-play baggage. Adolfo Carrion, President Obama’s “urban czar”, took thousands of dollars from developers as Bronx borough president around the time the same companies received big contracts [...]
