The White House and Congressional Democrats have been claiming that a $634 billion health-care plan they want passed won’t crowd out private insurers, but only restructure the delivery of health-care. Don’t you worry your little head about things like socialized health-care or nationalization, they say to sooth over the general public. We’d never do that! Socialists? Us? Nevuh!
But every once in a while you get a lower-ranking Democrat who’s in on the scheme and willing to admit exactly what’s going on. On issues like Democratic promises on Iraq, it’s Rep. Paul Kanjorski (D-PA) here to tell you about how his party knowingly lied for political purposes about its ability to withdraw troops from the battle zone. Now, on the issue of socialized health-care, it’s Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill) admitting to an audience that the Obama health-care plan is simply a trojan horse for a single-payer system.
So what? It’s just one lowly representative from Illinois, right? Sure. Except that President Obama admitted his end goals in a speech to the AFL-CIO back in 2003 — long before he even won his Senate seat:
Don’t expect mass coverage of this in the mainstream media, though. Most of them are just fine with Democratic deception as long as it achieves the end-goal of socialized health-care. As for the deception, most Americans won’t remember it because the media won’t remind them. Such is the ability of the Deciders.
