Obama Finally Issues Statement on Slain Soldier

by Stephan Tawney on June 3, 2009

Despite taking just hours to issue a statement of condemnation regarding the murder of late-term abortion doctor George Tiller, it’s taken President Barack Obama until now — three days after the murder — to issue a limp statement regarding the killing of an American soldier by someone who’s been charged with terrorism. Here it finally is:

“I am deeply saddened by this senseless act of violence against two brave young soldiers who were doing their part to strengthen our armed forces and keep our country safe. I would like to wish Quinton Ezeagwula a speedy recovery, and to offer my condolences and prayers to William Long’s family as they mourn the loss of their son.”

Actually, it wasn’t senseless. It was a killing of an American soldier by a politically-motivated convert to Islam who despised the military and America. He’s been charged with multiple counts of terrorism and one count of first-degree murder. And yet it’s taken our Commander-in-Chief three days and pressure from some media outlets to issue that statement. By comparison, here’s the statement Obama issued without prompt a few hours after the murder of Tiller:

I am shocked and outraged by the murder of Dr. George Tiller as he attended church services this morning. However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence.

Apparently some cold-blooded murder is less outrageous to President Obama than others. The murder of a late-term abortion doctor is outrageous enough to spark a strong comment within hours, while the murder of an individual who served this country in the military takes days and media pressure for any comment whatsoever. Lovely.

Obamas been spending his first few months as a POSER President kissing all our long term enemies asses, manipulating uneducated (and some educated) third world country savages into believing he wants to help them… meanwhile slowing convincing congress and the growing number of liberal scum (mostly Democrats) to nominate him as World Dictator, and let’s not forget that our government is buying up everything… I’m starting to feel like I’m living in a cold war Soviet Union?

Here’s how to get the liberals going on the Partial Birth Abortion issue. Tell them this — I actually got someone to see the light:

My neighbor’s Golden Retriever is about to have puppies anyday now

She lives in an area with a lot of unemployment — no one seems to want a new puppy once they’re born

Because she can’t afford to take care of the puppies, she has devised a plan

When her Golden Retriever is giving birth, she will smash each puppy’s head with a hammer as it’s being born & then put them out on trash day

Will PETA have a problem? Is it legal?

Oh that’s right. It’s only legal when it’s BABIES

Tiller was killed in the safe sanctity of his church, a place where he felt safe, protected, loved.

Oh the irony — sounds much like a mother’s womb
