Video: Inside the Canadian Health-Care System

by Stephan Tawney on Mon, Jul 13, 2009

Watch as Steven Crowder exposes the true Canadian health-care system. Contrary to what we’re told by the likes of Michael Moore and Barack Obama, it’s a living nightmare.

Crowder’s friend, pretending to have hurt his wrist in a skateboarding accident, attempts to visit the free clinic only to find it’s closed on the weekends. So, they make their way to the emergency room. After waiting four hours and realizing that someone in there with a broken clavical had already waited five, they departed. Making their way back to the free clinic on the following Monday, they were told that they couldn’t get a blood test and would need a family physician. The wait time for one?

Two years. And they’re told to purchase better health-care for over $900.

This is what we’re looking at if the Obama Administration succeeds in passing socialized health-care: Rather than great care for most, you end up with horrible and scarce care for everyone. Sound like paradise to you?
