An absolute disgrace of an administration. So dedicated is Barack Obama to sitting down unconditionally for tea with the Mullahs, that he’ll ignore all of the fraud and violence that took place during the Iranian election. He’ll walk over the dead bodies, turn a blind-eye to the literally impossibly results, in order to have an opportunity to appease the Iranian regime. Absolutely disgusting.
Incidentally, Allahpundit points out that Obama’s self-imposed window of opportunity is closing:
Oh, and in case you’ve forgotten, Obama himself has already set a September deadline for negotiations to happen before he starts pushing for a new round of sanctions against Iran. Which means Gibbs endorsed the election result to preserve the possibility of talks for another eight whole weeks. Eight weeks.
How will the American left, who was outraged over the post-election violence and changed their Twitter avatars to express solidarity with Mousavi, respond to the administration’s blatantly-hideous acceptance of the election results? Most likely by suddenly finding that the results weren’t as impossible as they previously thought or insisting that Obama had no other choice. Funny how the rhetoric changes once President HopenChange screws up.

This must be a joke. How Mr. Gibbs have no idea what is going on in Iran?
Ahmadinejad was selected as a president not elected.
Mr. Gibbs, do you have any idea after June 12 Iranian government is killing, torturing, and kidnapping protestor over rigged election in Iran?
Please have a respect for Iranian people who are sacriffing their life just to be heard.
