Seriously: Dems Complain About Rush Comparing Them to Nazis

by Stephan Tawney on Thu, Aug 6, 2009

Really? Really? Apparently.

Dear Michelle,

If there was any more doubt that the right wing fringe is reaching shocking new lows by the day, Rush Limbaugh is now openly comparing the Democratic Party to Nazis and using swastikas on his website.

This comes right after Minority Whip Eric Cantor said that the GOP ‘needs’ Mr. Limbaugh. We’re issuing a special Rapid Response Alert to encourage grassroots Democrats to hold them accountable.

Sign our petition telling Republicans they should immediately condemn Limbaugh’s hateful rhetoric.

At a time when families are looking for solutions to rebuild the economy and make health care more affordable, Rush Limbaugh is attempting to sidetrack the important debate through his use of symbols that are synonymous with murder, intolerance and genocide.

Sign our petition to make sure they are held accountable.

Apparently Democrats think that people’s minds were wiped clean on January 20th. Democrats openly compared George Bush and Republicans to Hitler and Nazis for eight years. Below are just a few examples.

Democrats weren't outraged here...

Democrats weren't outraged here...

Or here...

Or here...

Or here.

Or here.

There was even a term entered into the Urban Dictionary, Bushitler, to compare Bush to Hitler. Here’s an example. And here. Michelle Malkin has a whole slew of Bush-Hitler/Nazi comparisons by the left. And that’s just Bush. There were countless accusations of Nazism against Republicans. D.L. Hughley even compared the Republican National Convention to Nazi Germany live on CNN.

But suddenly the Democratic Party is outraged by comparisons of politicians and political movements to Nazism. Suddenly such comparisons are vile and unacceptable. Suddenly it’s worthy of national condemnation. F&cking hypocrites.

  1. Bill G. Says:

A major part of fascism is government control of industry and the economy. Which party is earning the swastika?
BTW, the word swastika derives from a Sanskrit word for “symbol of good luck or well being”.
