Rep. Russ Carnahan (D-MO) attempted to blame the violence that occurred at his town hall on a “right-wing assault”. But when a local talk show host pointed out that it was pro-ObamaCare union thugs who beat up a man and were charged with assault, suddenly Carnahan gets all bi-partisan about the violence.
It only gets better when a local reporter points out that Carnahan is attempting to blame organized Republican opposition, but Obama’s official political wing has joined with the unions and Democratic National Committee to flood the town hall meetings. Again, suddenly things get bi-partisan in blame.
For weeks town hall meetings dominated by opponents were peaceful. The most that happened was a speaker shouted down temporarily by angry taxpayers. Then Barack Obama’s thug supporters from the unions show up, are told to get in people’s faces, and things get violent. And now the left and media want to blame it on the opponents who held peaceful events? I don’t think so.
