There’s no indication that Obama’s talked about such a program in recent years/months, but it wouldn’t be the first bit of Orwellian rhetoric from this administration. Rahm Emanuel talked about mandatory national service not long ago and Michelle Obama said her husband wouldn’t allow Americans to go back to their lives as usual.
