Fantastic: Russia Deploys Missile Defense System

You know, kind of like the one the Obama Administration is busy obliterating funding for here in America and is offering to abandon if Russia makes concessions on Iran.

So Russia, which claims to hate our proposed European missile defense system, is deploying its own missile defense system in Asia. Meanwhile, we’re busy offering to abandon our plans for a similar system if Russia gives up lip service on the state sponsor of terror it’s supporting.

What could possibly go wrong?

Russia has deployed a missile defence system near its border with North Korea and is studying other measures to protect its population from stray missiles, Russia’s top general said on Wednesday. …

A series of missile launches and a nuclear weapon test by North Korea this year alarmed its neighbours, including South Korea, China and Japan.

“We are definitely concerned by the conditions under which tests are being carried out in North Korea, including nuclear devices,” the chief of Russia’s general staff Nikolai Makarov told journalists in the Mongolian capital Ulan Bator.

The Russians are first and foremost committed to their national security, which is entirely justified. Meanwhile, we’re ready to abandon our own national security interests in pursuit of sitting down for a cup of tea with rogue nations and their illegitimate governments.

We’ll be throwing spit balls at our enemies by the time the Obama Administration is done dismantling our defense system. Although, the ACLU might come in and demand an investigation into the torture that is getting hit with a spit ball. So those would likely be out of the question, too.
