House Democrat praises Fidel Castro, Guevara for kicking out wealthy

by Stephan Tawney on Fri, Aug 28, 2009

It’s like she designed this speech as red meat for conservatives and general opponents of ObamaCare.

The House member in question is Rep. Diane Watson (D-CA), a staunch liberal (socialist?) and lifelong race-baiter. She attacked libertarian and businessman Ward Connerly for daring to marry a white woman. She laid down ever bit of race-baiting imaginable over Hurricane Katrina. And you might remember her bragging that Washington, D.C. is a “chocolate city”.

So her racist and radical credentials are well-established. In the video below, she’ll move on to establishing her far-leftist credentials. You’ll hear Watson praise the Cuban health care system, attribute the opposition to ObamaCare to Obama’s race, and heap an unbelievable amount of praise on Fidel Castro and Che Guevara for “kick(ing) out the wealthy”.

Don’t think for a second that she’s the odd one out in today’s Democratic Party, either. Barack Obama and his allies in Congress seek to punish the “wealthy”, redistribute their wealth, and keep them from rebuilding said wealth again. They also seek to establish a single-payer system that comes along with rationing, low-quality care, and government bureaucrats deciding whether you live or die.

Diane Watson is just intellectually honest enough to admit her true beliefs.

What bothers me lately is a problem I haven’t seen addressed yet. It’s not just the isolated incidents (black panters not prosecuted by our A.G., “it ain’t America no more”, SEIU thugs beating a black conservative etc… and other things or the blatant comments by black congresswomen that leaves no doubt they’re socialists. What is bothering me is that they feel so emboldened to do it now. The color of a President’s skin or a Democrat in the white house has never had this effect in our entire history but now it does? What do they think Obama and his Administration is going to do, or better yet, what have they been told is going to happen? What have they been promised? I know I was shocked and appalled when I learned what was being preached inside black churches. Is it still going on?
