Communist. 9/11 Truther. Race-baiting conspiracy theorist. And now, yes really, Mumia supporter.
And that’s without mentioning his crude language to describe opponents and comparing a sitting president to a crack head. Keeping in mind that this guy has a high-ranking position in the United States government, has the authority to hand out $30 billion of taxpayer funds, and doesn’t answer to Congress at all.
Van Jones’ circle of lunacy is nearly complete, my friends.
More than 150 demonstrators marched from 14th Street and Broadway to the Oakland Federal Building to demand that the Justice Department re-open its corruption investigation of the Philadelphia Police Department.
Supporters of Mumia Abu-Jamal, a death row inmate convicted for the 1981 shooting death of a Philadelphia police officer, said the protest was called after the Supreme Court on Monday rejected claims that Abu-Jamal, a former radio journalist and Black Panther, did not receive a fair trial.
“We knew there was another event going on, but the timing of the court decision is what dictated when the protest was held,” said Van Jones, a San Francisco civil rights lawyer who helped coordinate the protest march.
Jones said about 15 protesters occupied the rotunda at the Federal Building on Clay Street in an act of civil disobedience with the hope they would be arrested.
Van Jones is a typical far-left radical, so none of this surprises me. There’s actually a bigger question to be asked here: What did the Obama Administration know about Van Jones and when it did they know it?
The Obama White House is the most tech-savvy of any in American history. And yet they couldn’t dig up through Google that Van Jones is a communist, 9/11 Truther, Mumia supporter, and general dipshit? I have trouble believing that.
No, it’s more likely the case that the Obama Administration fully knew about Jones’ past and just didn’t care. And that’s more disturbing than anything we’ve discovered about Jones himself to date.
