Video: Van Jones Compares George Bush to a Crack Head

by Stephan Tawney on September 4, 2009

The hits just keep on coming for Barack Obama’s admitted communist green jobs czar, Van Jones.

First came the video of Jones calling Republicans “assholes” and blaming “white polluters” for apparently driving poison into minority communities.

Next came news that Jones had signed a 9/11 Truther petition back in 2004, displaying his belief that the U.S. government actually carried out the September 11th attacks.

Then came the revelation that Van Jones had his own little Jeremiah Wright moment, taking part in an event in 2002 that was anti-war an involved the slogan “God ‘Less America”.

And now this. Van Jones mocks not only the idea that America should pursue its own oil reserves to reduce dependence on foreign oil, but compares George W. Bush — the sitting president of the United States at the time — to a crack head. Yes, he actually says “crack head”.

This is rhetoric one comes to expect from radio commentators, television pundits, and political columnists — not from a man who was chosen for a high-ranking position in the U.S. government.

Was there any vetting process whatsoever for Jones? So far we little people have discovered that he’s a communist, 9/11 Truther, race-baiter, calls opponents crude names, and compared a sitting president to a crack head. I’m having trouble believing even for a second that the Obama Administration knew nothing about his past. Which would indicate that it’s just fine with his past.

Just imagine for a second that a major Republican, any major Republican, had compared Barack Obama to a crack head. The left would express enough outrageous outrage to leave a hole in the ozone layer. But he’s a far-leftist, so everything’s cool.

Unbelievable.
