NEA Communications Director Finally Resigns

by Stephan Tawney on September 24, 2009

National Endowment for the Arts communications director Yosi Sergant, under fire for attempting to use the taxpayer-funded agency to produce propaganda for the Obama Administration’s agenda, has finally resigned.

Ben Smith calls him a “conservative target”, but Sergant should’ve been a “target” of people from all across the spectrum who oppose taxpayer funds being used to produce propaganda. And quite a few people of all affiliations did have a problem with it.

This is just the latest fallout from the disgraceful attempt to begin a Department of Propaganda. The White House has admitted that the call was “inappropriate” and new measures have apparently been introduced to (supposedly) prevent it from happening again.
