This is what happens when liberals realize that they’ve lost the argument based on facts and reason. They need to turn to laughably hyperbolic remarks accusing their opponents of everything from racism to wanting to commit murder.
The moron in question, who the White House will undoubtedly have to separate itself from during tomorrow’s briefing, is Rep. Alan Grayson (D-FL). Grayson represents half of Orlando, Celebration, Walt Disney World, and part of Ocala.
Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Fla., warned Americans that “Republicans want you to die quickly” during an after-hours House floor speech Tuesday night.
His remarks, which drew angry and immediate calls for an apology from Republicans, were highlighted by a sign reading “The Republican Health Care Plan: Die Quickly.”
A few things here. First of all, Grayson is the moron pushing for health care rationing, end-of-life counseling from the government, and a system where seniors would be told to go home and die rather than receive necessary treatments. And we’re the ones basing our health care plan on Americans dying quickly? Uh huh.
Second, how does this not violate some House parliamentary rule. You can’t call the president a liar when he lies, but you can accuse your colleagues of hoping Americans die? If Joe Wilson can get censured for telling the truth, Grayson can get censured for accusing fellow members of Congress of hoping their constituents drop down and die.
Congratulations, Al. You’ve won the Jackass of the Week award.
