Yes, the country attempting to defend itself from an onslaught of neighborly attempts to drive it into the sea is the number one threat. Never mind the rogue regime listed by multiple nations as a state sponsor of terrorism that’s attempting to acquire a nuclear weapon, all while it states its intention to launch a second Holocaust.
Is there any doubt that this guy is an Iranian stooge interested in deflecting the attention from his terrorist buddies’ attempt to become nuclear powers?
TEHRAN, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) — Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Mohamed ElBaradei said Sunday that “Israel is number one threat to Middle East” with its nuclear arms, the official IRNA news agency reported.
At a joint press conference with Iran’s Atomic Energy Organization chief Ali Akbar Salehi in Tehran, ElBaradei brought Israel under spotlight and said that the Tel Aviv regime has refused to allow inspections into its nuclear installations for 30years, the report said.
“Israel is the number one threat to the Middle East given the nuclear arms it possesses,” ElBaradei was quoted as saying.
Yes, the guy who’s supposed to be making sure Iran doesn’t get nukes is holding a press conference with Iran’s top nuke guy, during which he condemns Israel — the nation Iran wants to obliterate — as being the biggest threat to a region that’s had violent infighting since the beginning of time. Craptastic.
Then there’s this:
“This (possession of nuclear arms) was the cause for some proper measures to gain access to its (Israel’s) power plants … and the U.S. president has done some positive measures for the inspections to happen,” said ElBaradei.
Have I been missing something? Obama remains, as a majority Americans agree, terribly weak on dealing with Iran’s quest for a nuclear weapon. But he’s taking positive steps to harm our ally’s alleged nuclear program at the same time? Is the American president more interested in harming our ally’s ability to defend itself than stopping Iran from acquiring the ability to harm Israel?
