Give Nancy Pelosi credit: Running up a $1.4 trillion deficit, continuing to propose legislation that will run it even higher, and then conceding that Americans are getting nothing for said deficit takes gnads the size of basketballs.

The American people have an anger about the growth of the deficit because they’re not getting anything for it…

So let’s give these government geniuses control of our nation’s health care system at a cost of over $1.2 trillion, reducing the quality of care, putting bureaucrats in charge of life-and-death decisions, and jeopardizing Medicare services for millions of seniors. What could possible go wrong?

Oh, right, just about everything.

Having conceded that Democrats have spent or proposed spending trillions of dollars and Americans have gotten nothing in return, San Fran Nan shouldn’t be surprised if voters kick the liberal Democratic Party and its socialist policies to the curb come November 2010. It’d be a just end.
