Few of them are particularly exciting, and in fact some of them are quite dumb. I’ve picked out the few intriguing and useful applications. Enjoy.
- Epicurious 1.1.0 – A handy application that turns recipes into grocery lists. You can check items off the list as you pick them up.
- Facebook Mobile - Only really helpful if you’re a Facebook fiend, which many people are. You can update your profile on the go.
- Mint.com Personal Finance 1.2.28 - I actually find Mint.com useful in managing finances. You can take the website’s features on-the-go without having to open the browser each time.
- Photoshop.com Mobile 1.0 - Yes, it’s a miniature, on-the-go version of Photoshop. And yes, it’s an application created by Adobe. Obviously it doesn’t have the extensive features of the full version, but you can crop, rotate, and change the exposure of photos.
- ShopSavvy 1.0.1 - Want to quickly search the globe for prices on an item you’re considering purchasing? Simply take a picture of the bar code and hit “Scan”.
So of the 40 applications listed, I’d maybe download five.
