I’ve never understood the negative connotation that comes along with being the “Party of No”. Perhaps it’s time that the Republican Party embraced the label in a positive fashion.
Admit that opponents absolutely correct. We are the party of “no”:
- No more big government.
- No higher taxes.
- No socialized healthcare.
- No bureaucrats between you and your doctors.
- No more exploding deficits.
- No federal agencies shutting down dissent under the “fairness” label.
- No more punishing productivity and success.
- No more death tax.
- No more open borders.
Standing athwart history and yelling “stop” isn’t always a bad thing. In fact, quite often it’s the best position to take.
