Two Navy SEALs have been brought in for court-martial after a barbaric terrorist, the one responsible for killing and mutilating American contractors before hanging their bodies from a bridge, accused the American heroes of punching him.
I’ve covered this case here before. Since then multiple members of Congress have called on Secretary Robert Gates to intervene in the case. You can sign the petition here asking the same. Just read the text and click the red “Sign the Petition” button. Affix your information to the bottom boxes of the page that pops up, then click the red button that reads “Add Your Name to the Petition”.
These are American heroes who captured one of the world’s most wanted, barbaric terrorists — a man who has murdered and mutilated our fellow citizens. And now they’re being punished for allegedly punching him in the midst of the capture.
Are we more concerned with the allegations of a murderous terrorist than standing up for the men and women fighting to defend our freedom overseas? Is America now more concerned with the comfort of our barbaric enemies than protecting our freedom and those who put their lives on the line in its defense?
The very fact that this case has come to this point is disturbing. Please don’t hesitate to sign the petition.

We are at war and these men did what warriors do. They acted above and beyond the call of duty to bring in a terrorist. To bring these men in front of a court-martial is a mis-justice not only to these men but to our great country. This is a time of war against those who would like to see our country destroyed. Things happen in war. But to convict these men for such a stupid reason is beyond common sense.

This is ridiculous that American fighting Navy Seals are treated this way. Release them and stop this misjustice. do we wnat to be a free nation or controlled by infidels. Where’s the common sense?

I can’t believe that these very honorable men are going through this. It, the system, has some major flaws in it. In view of this action why would anyone want to go into military service?

where is the trial for the cold blooded murder of the american soldiers? When will the person responsible for that be brought to justice with more then a punch in the belly. My 8 year old daughter gets more roughed up then that on the play ground.

how many people have to sign the petition in order for the SEALs charges to be dismissed?

What is wrong with our government? We send over brave young men to fight for all of us, and then we pick them apart for such ridiculous things as the accusation by the enemy combatant that he got a bloody lip? This combatant is taught to say that, and even if it was true, do you think we won World War II by not being able to cause any bodily harm to our enemies? Screaming liberals shut up!!!!! You are the problem…..not the brave soldiers.

This is a total miscarriage of justice I have heard of in the military.
I personally think the general responsible for these charges should be reassigned and a rebuke written into his military record.

We’re in a war and this makes the enemy laugh. Just like when we didn’t put the mints under the POW’s pillows at Gitmo. The press made a big show of it and now the Commander talks of shutting it down. We are not on war footing…and we need to get there before it’s too late. War is not pretty but I think a an enemy’s head on a platter is pretty nice and well, a bloody lip is just gravy.
I am ashamed at the way treat our warriors.
They do it everyday and “The only easy day was yesterday.”

This is one of the biggest, saddest and embarrassing messes Americans have had to endure. FREE the US Navy SEALS now.

FREE THE NAVY SEALS. This is a “slap in the Face” to our military. Especially those who go into specialized service to take on those critical missions.
