Pictured: Blithering Idiot
The world is in the midst of a prolonged recession, with the United States racking up massive deficits and countries like Greece fearful of going into default. So what are world leaders doing about it? Proposing international agreements that would further harm the economies of developed countries (read: the United States and its western allies).
The draft accord said all countries together should reduce emissions by 50 percent to 95 percent by 2050, and rich countries should cut emissions by 25 percent to 40 percent by 2020, in both cases using 1990 as the baseline year.
In other words, we’re going to significantly cut back productivity and punish American companies, leading to higher unemployment and a lower GDP. Developed (read: successful) countries would need to meet deadlines even earlier than your third-world craphole that just got running water last week. All in the name of appeasing idiots in polar bear costumes.
Oh, and poorer countries are demanding that we give them many billions of dollars. Yes, demanding. It’s yet another attempt to redistribute wealth of the United States and its developed allies to failed and corrupt countries that feel entitled to our taxpayer funds.
Global Warming: Greatest. Scam. Ever.
