We already knew that Al Gore doesn’t even possess a basic understanding of science. It became sort of obvious when he claimed that the center of the earth, which is believed to be several thousand degrees, is actually several million degrees.
We’re reminded once more today that the world shouldn’t be listening to this man on scientific manners. He’s just making up statistics and data now.
Mr Gore, speaking at the Copenhagen climate change summit, stated the latest research showed that the Arctic could be completely ice-free in five years.
In his speech, Mr Gore told the conference: “These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 per cent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years.”
You know who should’ve been told about Dr. Maslowski’s alleged claims? Dr. Maslowski.
However, the climatologist whose work Mr Gore was relying upon dropped the former Vice-President in the water with an icy blast.
“It’s unclear to me how this figure was arrived at,” Dr Maslowski said. “I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this.”
So let’s see. We have emails from a prominent university that expose manipulated climate data and outright lies. We have prominent scientists calling bullcrap on the whole theory of anthropogenic global warming. We have one of the biggest proponents of the theory being exposed as a blithering idiot who is now just making up statistics.
And yet we’re still talking about destroying our economy and redistributing our wealth to third-world countries to deal with this junk science. Cults are a powerful thing.
