Can’t say for sure as of yet, but if he’s not drunk he’s doing his best impersonation. He’s slurring words, repeating seemingly unimportant phrases, and frequently losing his train of thought. I’m pretty sure I’ve seen this guy struggling to place his finger on his nose in an episode of COPS.

It was 4:40PM on the Senate floor, and Senator Max Baucus (D-Montana) was going on and on with a spirited, slur worded, drunken tirade against Senate Republicans for their none support of a National Health Care Bill. We don’t know what he ate for lunch, but he probably chased it down with a good drinking buddy…
