Rush Limbaugh criticizes a Republican politician and the left-wing, er mainstream, media cries “civil war!”. The highest ranking Democrat in Congress takes shots at the Democratic president of the United States and there’s almost ubiquitous silence.

“All is well! Nothing to see here! Everybody’s happy!”

Referring to one of Obama’s campaign pledges, a reporter asked Pelosi whether C-SPAN cameras would be allowed to film the House-Senate negotiations.

“There are a number of things he was for on the campaign trail,” said a bemused Pelosi.

Recently Obama infuriated progressives when he claimed he “didn’t campaign on the public option.” (He did.)

Things are bad enough when even lefty outfits like Talking Points Memo are openly talking about Obama’s lies. Things are even worse when beltway liberals like Pelosi are openly joking about Obama’s lies.
