Supreme Court Blocks Television Broadcast of Gay “Marriage” Trial

by Stephan Tawney on January 11, 2010

The United States Supreme Court has blocked the television broadcast of California’s federal gay marriage/Proposition 8 trial.

The liberal judge presiding over the case, as well as gay activists, had wanted the trial broadcast in an attempt to intimidate opponents of gay marriage.

The ban will be in effect for three days in order to give the justices more time to review the issue.
