Coakley, Dems Paying Union Members to Support Her Candidacy

by Stephan Tawney on January 12, 2010

A video posted by an activist from a rally outside the debate hall from yesterday exposes something remarkable: Union members are being paid $50 per person to hold signs for and support Martha Coakley. She’s the Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate in Massachusetts.

In fact, some of the members holding signs don’t support Coakley at all. They’re only there because they’re being paid to be there. One member even admits that he’s voting for Scott Brown.

Just the latest political corruption. Union bosses paying members to support a political agenda that enriches the aforementioned union bosses and their cronies. All while members get screwed by the very agenda they’re paid to support, from higher taxes to massive debts for their children.
