Democracy is really starting to cripple the liberal style. This whole process of letting the people determine their own future through voting and activism? Starting to get in the way of the left-wing agenda. It’s become a real problem.
So liberals are responding by removing decisions from the hands of the people. First the Washington, D.C. election board decided that anti-gay marriage measures couldn’t appear on the ballot. Now former regulatory lawyer Judge Judith Macaluso has upheld the board’s decision.
The government has decided that the people can’t be trusted to make their own decisions. The people need an oligarchy to do what it considers best for the poor, ignorant masses. The government considers you to be too stupid to vote on important issues facing the country.
How long before we’re told the people are too stupid to pick the president or members of Congress? After all, they sometimes do stupid things like electing non-liberals. We can’t have that now, can we?
