The AP’s Obama Shilling on Haiti

Goodness.

WASHINGTON – Some 800 infantry soldiers and a Navy aircraft carrier are bound for Haiti to aid the massive relief effort under way, the first major influx of U.S. troops since the catastrophe struck.

The troops, expected to arrive Friday, were a clear sign that President Barack Obama was intent on rescuing the ravaged nation, despite the strain that such a vast undertaking would invariably take.

SuperObama to the rescue! Well, actually, Obama will stay in Washington to continue pushing his partisan agenda on health care. It’s the infantry members, aircraft carrier crew, Coast Guard, and other members of the Armed Forces who will feel the strain and have to rescue the nation. Obama issued an order.

This is quite typical for the media. Obama issues an order to send troops to Haiti and he becomes a superhero, coming to rescue the ravaged nation. George Bush travels Africa and significantly increases aid for fighting diseases and feeding the population, leading to countless lives saved. He’s considered evil.
