- Methinks the tax-cutting JFK would be proud.
- I don’t blame those on the left who said last night wouldn’t be possible. I didn’t think it was possible, either. That said, don’t underestimate the willingness of any American to buck the will of Washington.
- Those who claim it wasn’t a referendum on health care reform are wrong and in denial. Brown told everyone who would listen that his goal was to kill this health care reform legislation. 48% of voters say the legislation was the deciding factor for them.
- This morning was one of only a few times in my life when I woke up and made sure it wasn’t all a dream. Americans are no longer as helpless in the face of disastrous far-left liberal agenda items being rammed down our throats.
- Brown only serves the remainder of Kennedy’s term, which expires in 2012. Can the same be repeated three years from now? Who knows. But by then we’ll have been through likely anti-Democrat midterms and a presidential election.
- Understand that Scott Brown is not a carbon copy of Jim DeMint. As Ed Morrissey noted, he’s more Rudy Giuliani. But he’s fiscally conservative and very strong on national defense. That’s what we basically need him for right now.
