Rep. Dina Titus (D-NV) isn’t feeling cheery about the electoral chances of her state’s Democratic senator, “Dingy Harry” Reid. In fact, she’s already writing his political obituary.

In a display of contempt unfathomable in the feel-good days after Obama’s Inauguration, freshman Rep. Dina Titus (D-Nev.) stood up at a meeting with Pelosi last week to declare: “Reid is done; he’s going to lose” in November, according to three people who were in the room.

You know you’re in a bad political situation when your colleagues on Capitol Hill are resigned to your loss….in January. I mean, not even the benefit of the doubt for the multi-term Senate Majority Leader?

Perhaps the Scott Brown victory in Massachusetts fully pushed Titus over the line. After all, if Republicans can win in liberal Massachusetts, what are the odds Harry Reid will keep his seat in the more libertarian Nevada?
