Obama Administration Claims Credit for Iraq Success

These people make Orwell’s Ministry of Truth look like the Encyclopedia Britannica.

Are they kidding? I mean, does Joe Biden not understand that April Fool’s Day actually occurs during the month of April? Or is he just so fucking delusional that he believes pushing for defeat every step of the way equates to deserving credit for victory?

I am very optimistic about — about Iraq. I mean, this could be one of the great achievements of this administration. You’re going to see 90,000 American troops come marching home by the end of the summer. You’re going to see a stable government in Iraq that is actually moving toward a representative government.

It’s like the America First Committee taking credit for success at Normandy.

Stable government? Surge conducted by Bush Administration and opposed by Joe Biden and Barack Obama. Troop redeployment? SOFA agreement negotiated and agreed to by the Bush Administration. And yet here comes Sheriff Joe to attribute credit to Barack Obama’s awesomeness.

I’m going with “fucking delusional” for a thousand, Alex.
