The Lake View Towers Residents Association would like to thank you for spending over $1.8 million of stimulus funds on Section 8 housing in Chicago, Illinois.
According to the “stimulus” tracking database maintained by StimulusWatch.org, the federal government spent over $1.8 million of “stimulus” funds to provide for Section 8 housing in one Chicago development alone.
More precisely, the federal government wrote a $1,831,121 check to the Lake View Towers Apartments Association Inc. for “rental assistance payments” in Section 8 housing. All of it came from the $825 billion “stimulus” legislation Congress passed under the premise of creating or saving jobs.
Total jobs reported created or saved by this $1.8 million+ expenditure? Zero. Nada. None. Zip. Zilch.
If your Congressman voted in favor of the $825 billion “stimulus” package last year, be sure to thank him by voting for his opponent in November. Do the same if your United States Senator is up for re-election this year and also supported the legislation.

Please just remember who started the big “stimulus package” and who ruined our economy and lets not forget the BIG bonuses in Wall Street too. Instead of point finger at some programs, why not come with better solutions that benefit people in general.
