As you know, we conservatives have spent several years on the defense. We’ve been outnumbered by tax-and-spend liberals in Congress and more recently the White House. Things are bad enough that we actually have to fight tooth-and-nail to stop a government takeover of America’s health care system and student loan industry.
We’ve been in such a position before and we’ve bounced back, pushing back the tentacles of big government and fixing problems caused by far-left predecessors. But in order to do so we’ve had to go on the offensive, which requires quite a few more seats in Congress than we currently hold. Our minority status must be eliminated in order to bring about real change. We need to take back Congress in 2010.
We have many great conservatives, libertarians, and independents running this year. And many of them have a good chance of defeating far-left incumbents who are hell-bent on spending America into oblivion and further interfering in the private lives and business of the American people.
We’re going to really start highlighting candidates worthy not only of your time and money but of your vote, too. We’ll even begin tonight. The first candidate highlighted will be Marco Rubio.
