You’d think this would be the year for incumbent Congressmen and Senators to separate themselves as much as possible from this corrupt, tax-and-spend, far-left Congress. But then you’ve obviously never met Senator Blanche Lincoln (D-AR), proud member of the Washington establishment.

In a year when poll after poll demonstrates anti-incumbent, anti-Washington sentiment amongst voters, Lincoln has cut a new advertisement in which she brags about being so in-tune with the Washington establishment that she’s been give the chairmanship of the Senate Agriculture Committee.

Apparently this is supposed to convince voters to ignore her votes for the failed $825 billion “stimulus” package, support for government-run health care, and basic rubber-stamping of every far-left policy from the Obama Administration. And why should voters ignore her record? Because she’s totally part of the Washington establishment.

Sounds like an electoral strategy from hell.
