Rep. Charlie Wilson (D-OH) has either been terribly mislead or has finally resorted to spouting just plain lies. He actually believes the Senate version of government-run health care bans federal funding for abortion procedures. No word if he was drunk at the time this conclusion was reached.
For the record, no, the Senate version of ObamaCare doesn’t ban the use of taxpayer funds for abortion procedures. That’s one of the reasons Democratic leaders have had to promise the House of Representatives that the legislation will be “fixed” in a reconciliation vote later on. A reconciliation vote which is unlikely to ever occur.
Give his office an earful. Enlighten the Congressman.

If his staff asks if you’re a constituent, tell the truth. But also remind the staffer that your political donations don’t stop at your Congressional district’s edge and you’re more than willing to help fill his opponent’s coffers. Besides, his vote will affect everyone — not just his constituents.
