We’ve already heard reports that Reps. John Tanner (D-TN) and Bart Gordon (D-TN) will switch their “no” votes to “yes” in exchange for appointments as NASA administrator and NATO ambassador, respectively.

Now there are rumblings that Rep. Suzanne Kosmas (D-FL) will end up supporting government-run health care in exchange for federal funding in her district.

Trading political favors for federal jobs would be nothing new for the Obama Administration and its Chicago political machine cohorts. Representative Joe Sestak (D-PA) has alleged that Obama offered him a high-ranking federal job if he dropped his bid for the Democratic nomination for US Senate in Pennsylvania.
